Terms of service

Effective date: 1 July 2026

Overview

Welcome to Emmaus Experience.

Throughout these Terms of Service ("Terms"), the terms "Emmaus Experience", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Emmaus Experience.

These Terms govern your access to and use of our website, online store, and all related content, features, products, services, and tools (collectively, the "Services"). Our Services are powered by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform that enables us to offer our products and services to you.

Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using our Services. They set out the rights and responsibilities of both you and Emmaus Experience and include important information regarding warranties, limitations of liability, and other legal protections.

By visiting our website, browsing our collections, creating an account, making a purchase, or otherwise using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, together with any policies referenced within them, including our Privacy PolicyRefund Policy, and Shipping Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms or any of the policies referenced herein, you should not access or use our Services.

These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, users, and others who access or use our Services.

1. Access & Account

By accessing or using our Services, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your country, state, or province of residence, or that you have obtained the necessary consent from a parent or legal guardian to permit any minor dependants to use the Services on devices owned, purchased, or managed by you.

Certain features of our Services, including placing an order, may require you to provide personal information such as your name, email address, billing details, payment information, and shipping address. You represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, current, complete, and that you have the legal right to provide such information.

If you choose to create an account with us, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorised access to or use of your account.

You may not transfer, assign, sell, or otherwise permit another person to use your account without our prior written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts, or refuse access to our Services, where we reasonably believe that false information has been provided, these Terms have been violated, or such action is necessary to protect Emmaus Experience, our customers, or the integrity of our Services.

2. Our Products

At Emmaus Experience, each piece is thoughtfully handcrafted using authentic leather. As a natural material, leather possesses its own unique characteristics that make no two pieces exactly alike. Variations in grain, texture, natural markings, wrinkles, and subtle colour differences are inherent to the material and should be appreciated as part of its authenticity rather than regarded as imperfections.

Over time, authentic leather will naturally develop a rich patina through use, gradually becoming softer and more distinctive. This ageing process is an attribute of premium leather and reflects the unique journey of each piece.

We strive to present our products as accurately as possible through detailed descriptions and carefully produced photography. However, the appearance of colours and textures may vary depending on your device, screen settings, and lighting conditions. As every product is individually handcrafted from authentic leather, the item you receive may differ slightly from the photographs displayed on our website.

Product photographs and descriptions are intended to provide an accurate representation of our products but should not be interpreted as an exact depiction of every individual piece.

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any product, collection, or service at any time without prior notice. We may also limit the quantities of any products offered or refuse orders where necessary, including where stock availability, pricing errors, suspected fraudulent activity, or other circumstances reasonably require us to do so.

All product descriptions, specifications, pricing, and availability are subject to change without notice. While we endeavour to ensure that all information published on our website is accurate, occasional errors or omissions may occur.

3. Orders

By placing an order through our Services, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products subject to these Terms.

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. An order is not considered accepted until we have received and successfully processed your payment and have sent you an order confirmation. We reserve the right to decline, cancel, or limit any order at our reasonable discretion, including but not limited to circumstances involving product availability, pricing inaccuracies, suspected fraudulent activity, or other situations that may affect our ability to fulfil your order.

If we are unable to accept your order, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you using the contact information provided at the time of purchase. Where payment has already been received for an order that cannot be fulfilled, any amount paid will be refunded using the original payment method.

Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase. Once an order has been placed, we begin preparing it for fulfilment as promptly as possible to ensure timely dispatch. As a result, we may not be able to accommodate requests to cancel or amend an order after it has been submitted.

All purchases are subject to our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and understood that policy before completing your purchase.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices displayed on our website are shown in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise stated.

Product prices, promotions, and special offers may be updated or withdrawn at any time without prior notice. The price applicable to your order will be the price displayed at the time your order is placed and will be reflected in your order confirmation.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, product prices do not include shipping charges or any applicable taxes. Shipping charges will be calculated and displayed during checkout before your order is confirmed.

From time to time, we may offer promotions or discount codes that are subject to separate terms and conditions. Where there is any inconsistency between those promotional terms and these Terms of Service, the promotional terms will prevail in relation to the relevant promotion.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete billing, payment, and account information for all purchases made through our Services. You are responsible for ensuring that your payment information remains valid and up to date so that we can process your order and contact you if necessary.

By submitting your payment information, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are authorised to use the payment method provided.

  • The payment information you submit is accurate and complete.

  • You authorise us and our payment service providers to charge the full amount payable for your order, including applicable shipping charges and taxes, where applicable.

If we discover an error in the pricing or description of a product after your order has been placed, we reserve the right to cancel the order or contact you with the option to proceed at the correct price. Where payment has already been processed for an order that is cancelled due to a pricing error, any amount paid will be refunded to your original payment method.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery estimates provided through our Services are intended as guides only and are not guaranteed.

While we endeavour to dispatch orders promptly and work with trusted delivery partners, we are not responsible for delays resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including adverse weather, public holidays, courier network disruptions, customs processing, or other unforeseen events.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, title to and risk of loss for products pass to you upon delivery of the products to the carrier.

Further information regarding shipping methods, delivery estimates, and related matters can be found in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

We reserve the right, but are not obliged, to monitor, edit, remove, or refuse to publish any Feedback that we reasonably consider unlawful, misleading, offensive, or otherwise inconsistent with these Terms.

12. Errors, Inaccuracies & Omissions

Despite our best efforts, information published through our Services may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, availability, shipping charges, or other information.

We reserve the right to correct such errors, update information, or cancel orders where necessary, including after an order has been placed, without prior notice.

Where an order is cancelled after payment has been received, any amount paid will be refunded using your original payment method.

This limitation includes, without limitation, any loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill, data, or anticipated savings, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

20. Waiver & Entire Agreement

Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

These Terms, together with any policies referenced within them, including our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Emmaus Experience regarding your use of our Services and supersede all prior communications, agreements, and understandings relating to the same subject matter.
